Where We Work: Fleming Island Roofing and Nearby Communities

Our crews handle new roofs, leak fixes and roof checkups for homeowners from Fleming Island out to the neighboring communities. The routine doesn't change with the address. Tarps go over your landscaping before tear-off, debris is loaded out each afternoon, and a magnetic sweep of the yard happens before we pack up.

The Towns We Drive to Each Week

Most of our work sits within a short drive of Fleming Island. On the Clay County side, that means Orange Park, Lakeside, Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace, Oakleaf Plantation, Middleburg, Asbury Lake and Green Cove Springs. Across the St. Johns River, we also take on roofs in Fruit Cove and World Golf Village.

The services stay the same from one town to the next. We handle roof replacement, roof repair, roof inspections, storm damage repair, gutters and metal roofing everywhere on that list. If you are unsure whether your street falls in our range, ask when you phone and we will give you a plain answer.

What Roofs Face Across Northeast Florida

  • Housing age

The area holds two broad kinds of homes. Older ranch houses, many from the 1970s and 1980s, are often on their second or third roof, sometimes over decking that has softened around vents and valleys. Subdivisions built from the 1990s on are reaching the age when original architectural shingles shed granules and lose their seal. We check the decking from the attic as well as the surface before suggesting a repair or a new roof.

  • Weather

Summer brings near-daily afternoon thunderstorms, and hurricane season runs June through November. Wind lifts shingle edges, driving rain finds tired flashing, and steady humidity feeds dark algae streaks on shaded slopes. After a storm we offer free post-storm inspections with photos of what we find, and we can work directly with your insurance adjuster on the claim.

  • Permits and HOA review

Reroofing here requires a permit and inspections under the Florida Building Code, issued by the county or town where your home sits. We pull the permit and line up the inspections. Many planned communities also have an architectural review step for shingle color or metal panel profile, so we gather the product details your HOA asks for before the job is scheduled.

  • Oaks, pools and planting beds

Many yards have mature live oaks over the roof, pool decks close to the eaves, and mulch or sand beds that hold onto dropped nails. We tarp beds and decks before tear-off, run a magnetic sweeper over the lawn and driveway every evening, and clear leaves and old shingle grit from the gutters before we call the work finished.
